You're gonna have to grow some thick skin and a pair of balls if you want to post here. You've got serious sports fans that want to talk sports, mixed in with trolls and idiots. You have to learn to skip past any post trying to derail your thread or you'll get buried in a pile of shite.

I’ll give you this: Your posts have been some the least flamey and troll-ey of the infestation.

I have low expectations of your brethren.

I think between 10 and 15 per school is expected

10 is probably more realistic 15 is probably the ultimate pie in the sky number but it would be nice

The new contract that was reported last year was 60mil a year for each school. I look forward to seeing how much over 60mil these additions bring. Im thinking not so much more. Sankey needs to report it bc it looks more likes he’s just going this from ESPN pressure.

$45 million in 2021 for the existing 14 teams
$60 million in 2022 and 2023 with Texas & OU
$75 million starting in 2024 when new contract starts

The LHN is going away.. that is why that money is added to the available money for the SEC to share

No thick skin needed.. the trolls just look fricking stupid.. This is simple math and a way to understand where the money is coming from..

ESPN is paying about the same, but gets a shitload of extra inventory using the money this way.

The socialist setup of the conference payouts does irk me a bit. Payouts should be proportional to how much revenue you bring in. It’s only fair.

I wouldn’t be shocked if those asshats at espn let you guys convince them to keep the studio as an alternative SECN studio

You realize they already did that, and it failed so miserably they moved the whole operation to Europe, where it died 14 years ago?

I don't know that it will be that much, but it will likely be a significant amount.

In the case of the Big XII TV deal, the sum is worth more than the parts. Theres no way Texas and Oklahoma are worth 345m a year without the rest of their conference. Do you seriously think they could demand 170m apiece going independent? No? So this math is pointless.

SEC may indeed increase revenue 10-15m/member, but this isn't how you reach that number.

You need the SEC. The SEC doesn’t need you.

I’d be willing to have our athletic dept pay that amount of money so you clowns won’t be in the conference. Texas is fricking toxic sludge.

I think you are missing the point.. I am not saying that Texas & OU could fetch $170 million each going independent.. I’m saying that ESPN can either choose to spend $401 million on the Big 12, or they can spend $401 million extra on the SEC and have a lot more inventory.. The money is the exact same for ESPN using this math..

$15M seems kind of low for dealing with all of Texas' drama
