Well, I think there is something to this. Sankey isn’t going into a vote blind. He’s been seeking consensus behind the scenes. How devastating would it be for SEC rules enforcement if he held a vote and it failed. The Wild West would get even wilder.

All that said, LSU isn’t going anywhere. There will be some type of compromise reached. Likely LSU will agree to not roster players who have “signed contracts” with professional sports teams and this will all go away.

I really don't know what the end game is here...Why the explusion threats

Do it then. Breach the Conference’s contract with Disney. Engulf the conference and every single school in legal battles for the next decade.

This reminds me of the 1984 Florida Gators SEC stripped title. UF had 120 NCAA violations while LSU has none

So we're kicking LSU out for trying to cheat like every SEC school, but Pedo State is still a respectable member of the B1G? I don't get it. Fine LSU or something, but kicking them out of the SEC for this seems insane. And like it or not, programs like LSU do not grow on trees. They're a cornerstone of the conference.

I think you're equating "fan hate" with "institution hate".

Alabama (the University) does not hate LSU. Any rivalry between them is a fan thing, and honestly has died down since Saban retired. Kiffin's link to Alabama is way less substantial than Saban's link to LSU.

I don’t see any school voting to remove LSU.

What should happen, however, is the schools vote to terminate Sankey. Should’ve been done when he moved us to 9 conference games.

I'm pretty sure the 2 Texas schools would vote with Ole Miss and Tennessee.
I honestly don't think Aggy would. There's something good brewing with Aggy and LSU. It's gonna be one of the must see games now that they have Elko.

Skank is an imbecile if he actually kicks LSU out of the conference

The fact that there’s an actual vote on the table tells me that the person that needs to be voted out is Skank himself and if there’s a cerTain University behind this as well trying to get rid of a charter member…

Fans of other SEC schools would be pissed if they don't get LSU on their schedule each year just as much as we'd be pissed if we don't get them each year. This could get really really ugly for Sankey and university presidents if they actually kick LSU out.

Not really. At this point I think the SEC is trying to give one last chance to LSU to fall into line. They've shown a willingness to push boundaries and skate the lines despite vocal opposition from the conference. It's not just Kiffin, the entire administration has failed to reign anything in and the silence almost seems like encouragement or at the very least action by inaction.

This is just my opinion on how the SEC sees it, not how I see it.

LSU isn't gonna get kicked. All this talk is absurd.

Sankey's arse will get kicked before LSU is not an SEC member.

LSU is to the SEC as us Hog fans are to sailing the frick out of tRant.

Have you actually recently beat us for any recruits? We've owned your arse in recruiting the last two years in head to head with the exception of a DT
