It's high time the other B6 members bring a case to boot Tennessee out. After this year, it'll be 20 years without an SEC Championship. No B6 team has gone that long without at least a share of one since I believe the 60's and 70's.

Nope, Charter Membership, basically takes an act of Congress and a supreme Court ruling to get us removed.
Losing to a team coached by Butch Jones, twice in a row, should be grounds for expulsion tho.

Comparing two fluke games to two decades of pure ineptitude
When's the last time UT even finished the season in the top 10 in any major poll?

Aren’t they still rebuilding though?

This century started in 2000.

Nope...2000 was the last year of the 20th century. 2001 was the start of the 21st century. You don't start counting years at zero...you start counting with 1.

This is true, but decades start on the zero, in terms of 60's, 70's, etc... Causes a bit of confusion

Yeah, got into that yesterday. Here's what Google says:
Basically, 2000 is not part of the 1990's. It is part of the 2000's in that colloquial sense.
In the historical context of documenting the "first deacade, second decade, etc.", it falls with (most of) the 90's in the "tenth decade".
The concept of identifying a decade as "the 2000's" or "the 90's" is lumping the years in groups of ten with the other years that start with the same first three digits.
Ergo, 2000 is not part of "the 90's". Arguing centuries though is a different discussion.

"the 1960's" comprises the years 1960 to 1969, "the 197th decade" spans 1961 to 1970.

GT, UK, Ole Miss, State, Tulane, Vandy, and Sewanee were all charter members.
