Maybe he should use the high-school sideline cue cards...I'm sure that would help

Maybe he'd prefer we just let him sit next to Coach Malzahn during a game.

I hate Ellis Johnson because his defenses always own Alabama. He owned us when he was at Mississippi State and he owns us now at South Carolina. I'm convinced he would find a way to shut down Alabama's offense if he was coaching at Vandy.

Nothing greater than putting 62 on the Hawgs with a high school system.

ETA: 65 points

The game is fine the way it is. Credit goes to Rodriguez, Franklin, and Malzahn for finding a way to win which is the name of the game.

The problem is enforcement of the rules. Twice in the Iron Bowl last year Auburn substituted and the umpire didn't stand over the ball and let Bama substitute.

I don't think refs mainly know the rules exactly or they have a hard time enforcing them.

I kinda see his point with being unable to line your players up. But that's why you got practice.

Maybe Ellis should start being positive about all of these hurry up offenses - forcing a 3 and out can be demoralizing to a hurry up offense. They're on the field and in 3 very quick plays, they are off the field.

With Barrett 5.5 in the 40 Trotter running the show? Sure.

He got embarrassed by it last year. I'd want it outlawed too.

I always thought Ellis was a good D'coordinator but his plan in the SECC game was not very effective, and drew criticism from his mentor Bill Oliver.

The NCAA like exciting play and lots of scoring, so don't look to them for help Ellis.

And damn near the entire SEC rant gave Dooley shite for saying this in the post game press conference after the LSU game.

What a little bitch. just call your damn play. This isnt like madden, back in the day, where you see what the other player has on the screen for plays and you wait till they choose.

The hurry up sure did ruin his defense when we played them twice.
