They are annoying no doubt. But finding a way to win is the name of the game. I personally like traditional offenses, although I do like watching Oregon and offenses like that sometimes, but pro style offenses are more my style.
I think traditional offenses better prepare players, in certain positions, for the NFL better as well. Some positions it doesnt really matter, Wide recievers and RB's for example, but linemen and QB's especially have kind of a shock when they go from those fast pace offenses in college to the pro style in the NFL. Takes getting used to, but if they are good players they are gonna make the transition anyway, may just take longer.

I'm sorry your defensive coordinator had 91 points hung up on his unit by a hurry up offense and then complains about how that offense is ruining football.

Fixed. Cam extending plays was what racked up the points. Not the hurry up offense. Cam single-handedly dominated us, and I am giving him credit for that and being a great player.

If it helps you sleep at night. Personally, I think our offensive line manhandling your defensive line played a pretty big role, along with your secondary being unable to cover any of our WRs.

i seem to recall dyer having 100+ yds in that first game. im sure that had nothing to do with it

Who needs an OL when Cam can drag 2-3 players and eventually break the tackles?

Thank you. We would get to Cam time and time again, and he would break free, complete a pass, or scramble for a big gain. Had not a single thing to do with the OL or hurry up offense.

Because that has what to do with Auburn's OL or the hurry up offense?

Dude, on half of those plays Cam had enough time to slap together a PB&J while deciding what he wanted to do, and if he did pass the ball, your secondary was nowhere near the intended receiver.
A good example of the offensive line play is the first touchdown of the SECCG. Just count the number of seconds he has to make a decision on that play. It's absolutely hilarious. And part of the reason your defense was so lackluster in that respect is your defensive coordinators idiotic use of a QB Spy. What on earth was he expecting that little dude to do even if he did get an accurate read on Newton?

It sounds like sour grapes right now

But that still had something to do with the hurry up offense? I know our secondary sucked, esp in the SECCG against yall, but I am saying Cam had more to do with running up the score than anything else. And the first game was close. We had a shot to tie with 2 mins left.

Does he yell at the neighborhood kids to get off his lawn too?

What's funny is that Ellis Johnson is complaining about the hurry-up offense ruining the game when his players were faking injuries trying to slow down the hurry-up offense. Which is worse?
