Always gonna be hard to make it to Omaha with hoglund out but damn tonight is baffling. Why start Broadway and throw him for 3+?

This Arizona team is not better than us talent wise. Their pitchers aren’t worth a damn either.

I was originally mad about the decision to start Broadway but not sure there was another decision to make. Most people would have said start Dougherty and he got 1 damn out. Zona players are just making clutch hits and our guys aren’t. Our season was based on nikhazy and hoglund being good enough to win any series, lose hoglund and we just didn’t have the pitching.

Another problem is that Bianco is definitely a likable guy... if we lose him, idk if we'd be able to pull the same caliber of talent

Funny enough that team wasn’t even that talented and was a veteran team with juniors and seniors. When a coach has been at a program for twenty years and has gone 1-5 in super regionals it means he’s had a lot of different teams choke in playoffs.

I would take Jacob Gonzales or Kevin graham over him. They are better players than anyone Arizona has.

I like Graham’s bat but in the field he is just average. Not gonna run down a bunch and definitely not the strongest arm. Both were on full display in that big Arizona ballpark.

Yea graham played a terrible left field yesterday. 2 of thier hits would have been caught if it were Plumlee out there.

I love Gonzo and Graham, but Jacob Berry is a juggernaut stud.

Their entire roster hit over 300. They didn’t have anyone that could match doug but that and shortstop are the only advantages we had.

Who do we all expect to lose to the draft besides Nikhazy and Hoglund? Any chance that Graham or Elko comes back?

My starting lineup prediction for next year:
C - Loposer
1st base: Tywone Malone
2nd: chatagnier
Short: McCants
3rd: Gonzalez
Left: Graham
Center: JRP
Right: Leatherwood
DH: Elko*
*more of a prayer that he comes back. If he goes pro I’m sure we will start some Juco kid that was all world but regresses for 2 years because they can’t hit a slider away
C - Loposer
