Doug is at 142 k on the year right? So he’s 4 behind tying Lynn and 5 away from having sole possession of first?

We even have Austin Miller getting outs tonight. Been a good night.

To answer your strikeout question: yes.

Miller did a hell of a job tonight. Had some base runners, but his breaking ball looked good tonight. I’m happy for him as a senior and glad that we didn’t burn any pen arms.

So who you think takes the mound tonight? I am thinking Dougherty.

Every arm on the team better be ready tonight that’s for sure. Part of me wonders if we should start Broadway and pitch the game backwards try and score a few runs and get as much out of him as possible.

If Broadway can keep his pitch count low...they can let him pitch the entire game.

Without Hoglund it was gonna take a pitcher not named Doug to pitch out of their minds. We simply didn’t have enough pitching this year. This is basically the same series as 2 years ago against Arkansas.
