Yep... zero interest in this team that will get the doors blown off them several times again .

I don’t know how y’all folks keep donating and giving money to the program. Literally wasting it. I’m done with my season ticket. I’ll go on a vacation with the money I’m saving .

The boosters were great when they cared about winning with Freeze and went out to help with payment. But the university disassociated with any of the ones helping progress the program because they bent over for the NCAA.

What’s left of tNetwork got wrecked by LSU and UGA this morning. We got outbid and we are out-coached. Until we fire Luke and Bjork and untie the hands of the real boosters we are doomed to more of this to come.

The guy is a walking embodiment of David Cutcliffe. Won't ever completely suck but will NEVER recruit at a level to win big.

I would argue that the "won't ever completely suck" is already off the table. We completely sucked last season, and next season looks worse.

I had issues with cutcliffe too, but don't compare him to this potatohead. Cutcliffe is at least a competent coach

Yeah cutcliff was a halfass recruiter but he would have won 7 or 8 games with last year’s roster.

Cutcliff was a great offensive coordinator and qualified to be a head coach. He was hired to get Eli Manning, which he did. Matt Luke was unqualified to be an offensive line coach for ole miss. He was hired to capitalize on relationships with a historic MS recruiting class, he failed miserably.

Do you know how many times Eli overruled the playcall in the huddle? He made Cutcliffe look so much better than he actually was.

I don’t wanna completely shite on this class because it’s probably better than the last two combined but I don’t think people realize how bad we are going to be next season.

Cutcliff coached up tee Martin to be a national championship qb, he was/is a great qb coach and offensive coordinator. His downfall was he couldn’t recruit and didn’t put in the time other coaches do with regards to recruiting and building relationships. If he had been our coach this year, we would have won 9 games.

Yeah I like some of the guys we signed but none of them are instant impact players (maybe Conner but we are ok at RB right now). The instant impact guys are all the top 10 MS players MS State, LSU, Aub, UGA, and Bama got.

But we are MS made though... only with the players everyone else in the SEC west picked over.

If someone tries to tell us Matt Luke and his staff are good recruiters one more time I’m going to be sick. I’m so tired of everything this excuse of a staff is doing.

All I know is that I spoke with a guy that played OL for Eli, and he said more times than not that Eli would get a play from the sidelines, say "frick that" and call his own play.

ETA: Eli is John Moxon

This class is an absolute disaster and heads should roll over it but we are ole miss so we'll go 4-8 next year and "win the party" Its incredible that a state university can be run this poorly. I mean our university is led by Jeff Vitter & Ross Bjork. What did everyone expect?

You are sniffing crack. Nick Saban couldn't have won 9 games with that defense.

He sure as shite would have signed more than 1 DT and 1 DE in the early signing period.

What games were we not in a position to win in the 4th quarter? LSU, bama and state. Watch those 4th quarters and you will see the most inefficient red zone offense you will see in your life. I get that you want to defend Luke, but this team has as much offensive talent as anyone in the nation and we went 5-7. Oklahoma showed you can overcome a bad defense with a great offense.

I watched every game. We were in every game except LSU, Bama, and State. How many points did we score in those other games? Points and offense wasn't the issue. Defense was. We literally cheered for ANY stop. Once again, no one was winning with that defense.

Please stop saying I want to defend Luke. I told some of you that you should have been pissed when he was hired! Luke isn't a bad coach. He just isn't a SEC coach. He never should have been hired here as a head coach. I said that when he was hired.

Offense was the problem. They had talent on that side. Defense didn't.

The defense did get a little help with Brandon Mack publicly committing recently. 3 Star WDE from Montgomery. 6' 4" and 240 pounds.

Could see him growing into a true Defensive End role, but I could also see him backing up Sam Williams next fall as an Edge LB in MacIntyre's 3-4 scheme. Excellent pass rusher potential.

Mack will be the 3rd player on the roster from Montgomery once he joins the team. There is only 1 from Memphis. This point has gotten beat lately but it's very confusing to me.

We should definitely be able to get 3 or 4 good players out of the Memphis area. Germantown, MUS and the rest could supply at least that if we recruit the area even halfway decent.
