The irony of our current sutuation is we all begged him to replace Luke every year and he never did. Now we’re stuck with him at HC because Freeze wouldn’t replace him.

Not necessarily. It is actually not a terrible idea. If Longo is not here next year we could be looking at a much different offense. Tisdale could go else where. Tisdale and KJ wouldn't work in a traditional offense where they need to have pocket presence. It's a very safe "just in case" pick up. Yeah he is from JA and doesn't play anyone, but there's no denying he has a considerable pocket presence and a HUGE arm

5A POTY committed a couple days ago. Had 1,600 yards and 27 td’s on the ground, 2,300 passing with 24 td’s through the air. Unfortunately not a defender but should be a good pickup Twitter

So our coach who is all about Mississippi Made and focusing on recruiting offensive line lost out on the best lineman in the state. I really do try and find some kind of optimism for this guy as our coach but there is just nothing there.

Cross has shot up the boards but he isn't ready to play next year. There are 3 tackles committed already. If Nick Broeker flips to Ohio State then it will be a bigger miss.

Darrel Henderson was just naked an AP All American. Could have used him over the years.

I think it is pretty clear that Luke was forced on him and he was not allowed to fire him.

I don't think that is the case. Freeze hired Longo and McGriff. Freeze hired Harris. His track record of hiring/retaining assistants was trash.

Freeze won despite some of his coaches imo.

This. So much this. Everybody remembers the Bama and LSU wins with Freeze, but forget about the losses to Memphis, Arkansas, close losses to A&M at home, etc.

Trust me when I tell you I haven't forgotten about that absolute no show that day against Memphis and that 4th and 25 debacle.

I’m so checked out on recruiting.. haven’t been following it at all. It’s so sad at how apathetic I am toward the program right now .

In his defense, that was two losses against Manziel. After that he didn't lose to them again.

You mean the year we went 10-3 and won the Sugar Bowl? Yeah, that year sucked. Luke will do much better than that.

fwiw the loss that hurt me the most was LSU 2014. The Memphis and Arkansas losses were awful too, especially considering what could have been that year. Still think we could’ve won out even without Laquon had we beaten LSU that year though.

Jerrion Ealy starts in CF for the Padres in a few years.

Wednesday will be fun.
