Houston Nutt quit on the job and still got another year. He may’ve clearly been a more capable coach, but 2010-11 is worse than anything Luke has put out and was done such with way less effort spent by the HC on the team than Luke has spent. Nutt, out of his own refusal to do his job, cratered our program to such a point that he’s been jobless since. Are his peaks higher than Matt Luke’s? Unquestionably. But at least I’ll give Luke credit for trying and sucking, which is more than I can say about Hootie Dale in his final two seasons.

But yeah HJJ is bitching about Luke just to bitch, again. Not to mention he’s ignoring the fact that Matt Luke’s two terrible assistants were Freeze hires and incapable of being fired because of the salaries and buyouts Freeze helped guarantee for them.

No one here likes Luke, but we should unquestionably have better coordinators this year, and ideally we have a new AD by October so we can start a proper coaching search in November. Rooting against the program is some of the most bullshite, nonsensical, pissant shite though
