Players win games if I coached Alabama next year they still go 8-4 and have a top 10 offense.

Honest question. Are you fricking retarded. Half of the offense is going to be drafted in the top few rounds and he couldn’t score a point unless it was against the school of the blind. What. The. frick. Is irrelevant about that?

It’s not very easy to say. It’s a fricking fact. He. Could. Not. Score.

You want to put your money where your mouth is? $300 says they go top 3 put up or shut the frick up.

And frankly. Even if all five don’t go top 3. They are all getting drafted. If you can’t fricking score with what is essentially an nfl offense you are a horrible fricking coach who isn’t worthy of handing out the fricking jock strap pregame.

Top 10 offense. frick off. Bottom 10 efficiency. If he doesn’t have 40+ yards he can’t Score and again. He. Can’t. Coach. Against. A. Competent. Team. What is confusing to you about that.

Also. Out of curiosity. Who isn’t going top 3 according to you? Only question is Knox and ol’boy is ranked as a top 50 prospect by multiple different sites.

Final edit. Here’s a few rankings for you courtesy of draftnetwork.com

Ta’amu QB11
Knox TE2
Metcalf WR1
Brown WR6
Lodge WR8
Little OT6

Golly, he really had to work miracles to get that top 10 ranking. I may have been generous about that wet paper bag comment.

Ha at least for the team board.

Admittedly I’ve been a bit moody lately.

Kelly Bryant to Missouri just eliminated one of our “winnable” games next year. What games do we even have a chance in next year?

Half of the 11 players on offense are getting drafted in the top few rounds. Please name them. I'll wait.

OM was 15th in passing efficiency, 5th in passing offense, and 68th in rushing offense. It quiet possibly was the best offensive year in OM history. A top 10 offense in the country yet you say the coach can't coach his way out of a wet paper bag. It literally makes no sense. The argument about running up points on bad defenses is not only flawed but those games where they struggled are in fact included in the totals.
The two lowest scoring games were against the #3 total defense in MSU and 7 against the #9 total defense in Bama. Outside of Texas Tech OM did not play a total defense worst than #88 in it's power 5 games.

Well for one I'm not even sure Knox has even declared for the draft. He had what 12 receptions on the year and isn't a blocking TE at all. His main appeal is the potential as a pass catching TE. I'm not sure where you are getting 2nd TE from. Metcalf is coming off a serious neck injury. We don't even know if he'll be able to compete in the combine. Lodge, who knows where he falls. And Jordan as the 11th QB? Even if that is so in 2018 that is a 7th Rd pick, 2017 that is undrafted, 2016 the 11th QB is a 6th round pick.

This is funny. What are you 17? I don't want your measly $300. I don't usually make bets about opinions from grown men I don't know named Shunface... Put ya rent money up.

You know what I should give you a $100 since I even entertained your dialogue this long.

if Luke is the offensive genius you think he is, why didn’t he take the reigns from Longo in November when we stopped scoring in the red zone? Remember when Luke said “they remember November” and then we ended the year with 5 straight loses? I know that’s not a stat that’s important to you.

He said at the end of season press conference that he knew how to fix it. But he didn’t during the middle of the season? Why wait until after? Is that some 4D chess that you want to explain for us too? Stats don’t matter when you score 3 points against State. If you have a “top 10” offense you SHOULD be able to score against good defenses. Who else would be able to score against them?

I literally named them in the in the thread you replied to.

If you can’t score what’s the point?

Ta’amu was the sixth player listed. I stated the other five.

Also. Thank you for proving my point. Knox is a top rated tight end and we couldn’t figure out how to get him the ball.

So your answer is you’re a pussy and won’t take the bet. I don’t know anyone named doresrules either. What does the username have to do with anything? Stop deflecting. And if you’re a fan of OM it should be pretty easy to recognize what it’s from. Enrique Davis and his arrest for showing a “shunning face” to an officer.

I’ll absolutely take your charity. More than happy to provide my Venmo.

Doresrules is just a troll - he'd be better off over on the Spirit where they he celebrate that wonderful offense that didn't do shite against any team that had a defense with a pulse.

I wonder if Longo is going to be our OC next year. I was told that he would be a hot commodity in lower FBS/FCS head coach searches. Do you think Luke can overcome his inner Cutcliffe and fire the guy?

It's almost like other schools are able to see what Freeze couldn't when JMU blew out SHSU days before his hire was official.

Doresrules is good people, he's just trying to find some positive about the current situation since we're obviously saddled with this staff and administration for the foreseeable future.

Complaining and criticizing has only shown that they're going to dig in their heels deeper and plug their ears even more. We'll see how the ticket sales affect them since they've shown themselves to be completely tone deaf to everything else.

With that hyper-efficient offense with humdrum talent how could we not want to keep him.

Honestly, I don’t know. I don’t believe Luke will fire him and the hope is he does take a job elsewhere. Nobody is beating down his door though. Who wants an OC who never met a redzone he couldn’t frick up.

There’s a 100% chance he comes back if he doesn’t get a job. They will keep pumping the “top 10 offense” shite and ignore the inability to score.

We missed on the only defensive coordinator that would have somewhat helped luke win back some fans at least for the season.

If Bjork and co aren’t committed to giving Luke the tools he needs to succeed I have no idea why we are keeping him.

Wtf are you talking about? I never said Luke was a offensive genius. Unlike some of you, I knew it would fail when he was hired.

The guy said he couldn't coach offense out of a wet paper bag which was stupid to say since it's statistically one of the best offensive seasons in program history.

You named Knox for a bet and he hasn't even declared for the draft yet LMBO

I'm FROM Oxford. My family help BUILD Oxford. We've been in Oxford since the 1800s. The name Doresrules is the name I made when I was your age 17 when I started first posting on message boards. Being that I'm from Oxford I went to Lafayette HS home of the CommoDORES. I just kept the name.

I don't know you. I don't want your $300 pocket change. I don't make measly $300 bets with guys I don't know. Some guy named Shunface calling me pussy isn't insulting lol You don't know me.

I'm sorry that I hurt your little feelings by calling out such a ridiculous statement. I don't like Luke or Long. Saying that they can't coach offense at all is stupid. if the defense wasn't ranked 121 and one of the worst in program history people wouldn't have nearly the same fury about the offensive woes.

All that matters is getting in the endzone when it counts. That did not happen. Our offense is a statistical joke. We put up ridiculous numbers against poor opposition. When playing a decent team, those stats drop significantly.

We only scored 7 against Alabama, 16 against LSU, 16 against Auburn, and 3 against MSU.

Please show me where I'm celebrating anything. And define what a defense with a pulse is? Top 100? Top 50?

You named what four top 25 defenses in the toughest conference in America. Surely that's not what you define as "decent". That would appear to be very good to great defenses.

Once again the post was only to comment on the wet bag idiotic comment. It wasn't to defend the offense or the woes and struggles the offense had.
