All four stars from '13-'16. They didn't all pan out but that is part of college football and probably had as much to do w/ poor d coaching. What are the chances that Luke puts together a recruiting list like that? 0.0%. Can you imagine Leach coaching this year's team? 8-4 minimum.

If we even had a 50% TD rate in the red zone we would have gone 7-5.
Ours was something abysmal like 40%.
I agree though I think Leach would have run circles around Longo’s offense this year. People that think he can’t be successful in the right SEC job are crazy.

Not one of those guys is a LB. Connor is the closest and he started as a safety. No one said Freeze couldn't recruit at all, but he sucked at recruiting LBs and RBs which hurt the team last year which would have gotten him fired if he was still coach and hurt the team this season.
People can blame Freeze without giving a damn about supporting Luke.

The long list of guys we went all in for and missed out on hurts (Jalen Smith, Roquan Smith, etc...etc...etc...), but also the kids that were in our back yard and would have jumped on an offer (I.e. Gerard Avery) hurt even more.

We could have the all time NFL greats as our lineup and with Luke as HC, we would still suck. I think I'm just done. I fricking hate everything Ole Miss until Luke is gone and Bjork is Djone.

Freeze apologists are worse than Luke apologists because freeze is the whole reason our program is where it is today.

He did in fact fail at lb recruiting but let's not pretend he left Luke nothing. If you want to see some fails at lb recruiting and d recruiting in general, go look at Luke's class last year and this year.

Would you have sent your son to Ole Miss last year, not knowing who the coach would be, not sure who he keeps as position coaches, no idea who all transfers.
No one is apologizing for Luke. He sucks. But some forget who was in charge that caused this.

Well, now that the pressure from the NCAA, Freeze's poor defensive recruiting, and what not is now gone, we can channel the momentum of this past season into recruiting.

10 of 26 commits are on defense, only 2 LB.

Yes freeze created the dumpster fire with his actions. Freeze would’ve also probably wound up with 9 wins after the bowl game.
