Tonight's loss to LSU is the nail in the coffin. We have now lost four straight series and are 3-8 in our last 11 SEC games.

It's time for a change. We can't be scared of "not finding someone better than him" or "how can we fire a guy who built this program." That's a loser's mentality, and with how much money and fan support our baseball team has, we should be seeing better results.

I'm done. Fire Mike Bianco.

I've never been in favor of this, but I think we should find a way for him to move on gracefully. He's a good man, runs a clean program, has done great things, but it's time for fresh blood regardless of the risk you take.

Very much IN .

Thanks for building the program but after 2 decades, it’s time for new blood

I agree. We have to be grateful for what he has done for our program and he should be heralded for his efforts, but at this point, his coaching is hurting the team more than it's helping.

Suss: #RebsBSB loses 7-2 to LSU, dropping its fourth-straight SEC series for the first time since 2002. 7-for-35 with runners on base in the last two games. Bullpen ERA up to 11.19 in the last eight SEC games. Big yikes.

It's easy and only natural to have kneejerk reactions the same night you get your arse kicked, but it's probably time to move on from Mike. I hate it for him and it makes me a little nervous, but there are many very good and proven coaches out there. Surely we can lure one of them to Oxford for a fresh start.

Fully support this. Godwin is making 400k a year at ECU. McDonnell is making 1.05M at Louisville. Tony Vitello is making 460k at Tennessee.

Offer one of them what Bianco is making right now.

Exactly. It's just time. Not a knock on Mike. He's been great. Sometimes it's just time.

This thread will hopefully be pinned after the seasons end as a coaching search thread

He seems like a great guy but.....he has demonstrated that he is incapable of fielding anything other than a mediocre team! Time to move on!

Hire Freeze. He played some college ball so I'm sure he could get us back to Omaha
