Ole Miss is fully funding all 34 roster players with full scholarships. This was long overdue in NCAA baseball.

Everyone that cooled on Dan McDonnell the last several years has started looking at the numbers again 
6 Omaha appearances in 18 years. 10 Supers !! MFer makes the Supers at over a 55% clip.
He doesn't have a Natty yet. But when he gets hired by an SEC school soon he'll coach for one. I'm worried South Carolina dumps Maineri and hires him after next season. The Gamecocks are a sleeping giant. McDonnell still has to be the first name on Keith Carter's 'Sudden Coach Death Short List' in his pocket right ? Everyone in Oxford worships Godwin but he's the new Mikey B of college baseball. At ECU over a decade and hosted tons of Regionals and Supers. The Pirates have yet to take a round of infield on that Chuck Schwab dirt.

Even after the LSU/Bianco saga (if true), you have to imagine that not convincing Bianco to walk last year and not hiring McDonnell in his stead is a regret Keith is having right now. I mean, McDonnell’s asking price is steadily rising while we’re stuck with a Bianco albatross around our neck.

It's been very quiet regarding any news on Bianco and his contract. I wonder if Keith is just gonna let Bianco's contract run out to avoid any buy out at this point since there will only be one more year remaining.

Bianco got the standard 4 year extension after the Natty in 22. He has not been extended since then. So next year is his last year under which he is under contract. So no buyout. Just move him to a $350k job in the athletic department as the liaison between donors and the baseball NIL and call it a career.

They deserve it for 4th and 25. Their high watermark for the last 12 years is a fluke play to keep us from an SEC championship. And they celebrated it like they won a natty. Eat shite.

Hell no. This is his first season. He could win the title and that still doesn't mean he qualifies for a Big 4 job. Lemonis won a title in his first season and now he's unemployed. I don't want a potential Lemonis 2.0. When Bianco hangs it up, we need to go out and get someone with a long track record of winning. We are a big fish in baseball. We need to act like it. Alabama football wouldn't go out and hire someone from a Sunbelt school in his first year. Our baseball program shouldn't either.
