I disagree. With the playoff expansion upcoming, that's the goal every year. You don't pay a coach this kind of money to go to the Texas bowl every year. I'm realistic enough to understand that the playoff every year won't happen. There are too many good teams, but we've got to at least be in the hunt most years and every 3-4 years get in. If not, you move in a different direction. 10-2 most years would probably get you into the conversation for the playoff at the least right?

James Franklin, Mike Gundy and Mel Tucker don't. I think we paid Kiffin for what the position is worth in the future once a new television deal is signed, and I don't have a problem with that. Just hope we saved some money for NIL and a new coaching staff. I thought the D actually did its job last night but couldn't hold out with the failed fourth down attempts and constant turnovers. The offensive line can't pass block and Dart makes poor decisions.

Mel Tucker’s contract was universally panned. The other two have both won their conference with the big boys. Kiffin is closer to Tucker than the other two.

The offensive line was my biggest gripe. Dart did make some poor decisions with throwing the ball (Corral did that as a young QB too). Dart's toughness and his running the read option impressed me though. He has grown in that tremendously this year. He's going to get better. I just hope we can put good players around him.

Play calling kept setting them up for failure. It was clear between tackles running was not working and pass blocking was below average at best. Kiffin’s play calling never adjusted to what tech was doing to them.

And all the shite on 4th down kept giving them short fields and easy looks.

Lane hates Jimbo but I’m calling him Diet Jimbo until he proves he’s worth the contract he just signed

Jimbo at least has a signature win

That game was refreshingly depressing.

I turned it off after we turned it over for the third time. I’ve seen how that movie ends.

There is a big difference between 4 and 12 team playoff. I agree we should expect a 12 team birth at some point. Kiffin might have hit that last year.

I vividly remember people here calling for Corrals head his freshman and sophomore year.

5 turnovers
5 turnovers on downs
81 penalty yards (2 ejections)

You ain’t beating Delta State with those stats. We looked like we all drank lean before the game.

It was an ugly game. Considering that it was a lower level bowl, I'm not too upset about it. I'm just ready to get to next season with some upgraded defensive talent.

Watching the OU game right now. Lebby’s play calling is head and shoulders above Weiss Jr.

He is arguably more incompetent as an OC than Matt Luke was as a HC

Non-playoff bowl games are exhibition games. Kiffin coached like that and I’m fine with it. O line issues were embarrassing though and have to be fixed

Kiffin has been arse since the second half of LSU. And he needs to fix this shite immediately. He’s getting paid Ryan Day money. This is unacceptable and heads need to roll in the off-season starting with Weiss Jr.
