To this day I do not understand how we couldn't find ANYONE to put back on punt returns besides Neat. Dude was a liability and cost us the 2012 LSU game single-handedly.

Don't forget about his fumble against LSU in 2013. We were up 24-14 in the fourth and he fumbled the ball at our own 13 yard line.

Also, among the litany of wrong information in that thread, UPD no longer cares about open containers. Spoke with an officer and the rule is gone now.

Be careful with this. I was in Oxford for the game two weekends ago, and my friend got a ticket for open container on the Square. However, if this info is right, that's awesome

He's referring to UPD policing it in the Grove. Having an open container on the square always has been and always will be a violation and they definitely will ticket for it.

I have a bad feeling about this game. Really hope it sells out and the crowd can help the team!

Ehh just playing another big game in the SEC. All part of it. Just hits a little different on the rivalry level when we are the ranked 1 loss team against an unranked big time foe.

LSUs run game had been non existent until they found 1 play that UF couldn't stop. Then they ran it like a 12 year old does playing a broken play on Madden.

Im going into this weekend expecting Matt to play. If he doesnt have an actual injury and is just "hurting" no way he doesnt play.

Gonna be a fun weekend in Oxford.

Love the optimism! We need more of that around here

I think we win this weekend similar to Tennessee. 35-31 type game where LSU is able to move the ball but our offense does enough and out defense comes up with a big stop or two.

Win this weekend and the Auburn game is likely for second in the West.

I don't understand why we are having trouble with this... Lane Kiffin is our HC and our stadium isn't even that big. I cringe with all the social media basically begging for fans to help sell out the stadium this week. I'd be there if I weren't abroad

There are a lot of factors why we don't pack the stands. Some internal, others not. Our stadium is too big for how isolated Oxford is. It's hard to get a hotel or AirBnb anywhere close without dropping some serious cash.

Maybe kids these days aren't as interested in live sports as they are their social media accounts?

Get off my lawn.

I think the TV experience is hard to beat, and it costs way more than it should to go to a game these days. Even the cheap games are a pretty sizable investment if you’re taking the whole family.

Ticket prices, poor kickoff times (sometimes), high priced food and drink, big screen HD TVs at home, high gas prices, hot weather… shall I continue?

I been having unprotected intercourse so I have toddlers and infants now which require attention at the homestead and aren't quite ready for some hours in the Grove

Grunge cover band.

“Come as you are” would be their signature cover.

Hit me up for more Generation X dad jokes.
