I hate to be negative, but that's probably game right there. In the 9th we have 2 automatic outs up to bat then the 9 hole hitter.

No one can hit. Overswinging on changeups, not hitting 1-0 fastballs, swinging at elevated fastballs, and not protecting the plate. Really a pathetic showing thus far against a team that has no pitching left.

I don’t know what the ninth will hold and this Tech bunch is good, but had we hit at all we wouldn’t be in this boat.

Everyone in the lineup owes all of the Ole Miss fans a public apology. I have never seen such an embarrassment in my life. To get shut down like that is downright pitiful. Horrible way to end the season.

Shut down by an outfielder. Olenek has a head that weighed 20 pounds after his hit streak and he’s been pure shite for a month.

Everyone here was afraid of Southern Miss and begging the committee not to send them up. Careful what you wish for.
Great season but man what a terrible postseason. Let someone win 3 games in under 24 hours against us on our own field.

I'll have to admit I thought the same thing today. I'll also have to admit it was after the first game. I just didn't see how we could lose 15-5 and find a way to beat these guys. I hate i was right. And I don't think they beat Texas. I hope I'm wrong for selfish reasons.

Clement probably gets hired away by Kansas State or some other school this offseason.
I won’t miss him. Really don’t now know much he had to do with our improved offensive numbers. I think it was more of just a highly ranked recruiting class maturing. He’s the worst third base coach. Aggressive isn’t even the word. He makes poor calls especially with less than 2 outs.
I loved the way Tech’s coach moved their lineup around constantly. If you don’t hit you get moved back. Bianco would never do that.
Case in point, Olenek’s on base % is .030 points higher than his average. Come on. Golsan should’ve been hitting in the 2 spot for weeks now.
Hate to see such a talented team not even make it to the Supers. No one to blame but themselves and their terrible offensive approach.
Have to give credit to Tech. They kicked our asses.

This is all you need to know about the last two games. I don't get how the team lost sight of what they did Sunday night against TN Tech. They put together BASE HITS, not home runs, put pressure on their average defense by putting the ball on the ground, and worked counts. All that was lost somewhere between Sunday night and the first game on Monday.
