There's no game notes yet but we lead the series 1-0 and they want you to wear powder blue. (Can we come up with a slightly more masculine name for this color?)

We should call it Brewer blue after the man that started it. Some say Vaught, but Vaught's helmets were much closer to Navy and the lighter ones were still darker than our current version.

My baseline expectation is the defense gives up 28 non garbage time points. More than that and I get a bit concerned. If we hold them to 14 I will get a lot more interested in our potential

This may be... hopefully will be... the best defense we've had since Brewer.

I deliberately let the garage go to hell this summer so I can go mutter and kick things while I clean it this season.
My hope is that we are solely focused on Louisville. It feels as if that's impossible.
My concern and it's permanent is how is our O-Line? And....
This never ending, media distraction of LSU vs Ole Miss; I truly believe they are purposely pouring more maggots on this pile of shite game, so it doesn't burn out. We haven't even played LSU and I'm ready for it to be over.
Give TC time and gaps for Lacy to split and we'll eat all day.

Seriously? 2014 defense was #1 nationally in scoring defense. 6th in turnovers. Top 20 in passing yds/game. Top 30 in rushing yds/game. Teams averaged 1.6 TD’s per game against us. I know that was the last season before the spread really took off but damn. If this defense is even close we will have a special year.

2024 was 2nd in scoring, 2nd in rushing, 14th in total, 3rd in sacks, 1st in TFLs, 10th in 3rd down %, 13th in turnover margin

Think we match up well with Georgia at home. Similar to 2024. OU could go either way. If Arch is how he was last year can he put up over 20 points against our defense? Most worried about @Florida. Think lsu game sets the tone for the season. But we need to absolutely stomp Louisville for a statement win to start the season.
