Looks like we are opening as a 3.5 point favorite.

Actually depends on the book. Some have us as a 6 point favorite

We’ve got way more fire power than Tulane. That’s easy money.

I keep coming back to the question, who do they have who can hang with our offense? No doubt they are good but Dart looked locked in with everyone he was throwing to yesterday.

USC had way more fire power than them last year too but still lost. I get the hype they’re getting but if we are focussed and play smart football, we should win by 3+ touchdowns. I fricking hate games like this and wish we would never schedule a road game at a non-power 5 school. It’s beneath us

Yeah but USC was also coming off a loss that knocked them out of playoff contention right? Classic recipe for a bowl game letdown. Not saying Tulane couldn’t hang but make that a regular season game and USC wins.

I also bet when this game was scheduled it was assumed it would be in the dome again.

LSU looks pretty average tonight. I said the same thing last year though after they lost to FSU and they stomped our tails.

Hopefully lane doesn’t turn into a fickle little bitch this season

Keon Coleman

Funny story. He wanted to go to LSU out of high school but Orgeron gave his last scholarship to a different in state receiver, who now plays for TCU.

Don’t know about that. We will still probably lose but their offense looks bad. If we can stay healthy we can score with anyone.

You know we’ve played them in New Orleans a whole lot more than we’ve played them anywhere else, right?

Some of our biggest road crowds have been against Tulane in New Orleans. Hate they are playing this in Yulman instead of the Dome. Carter was pissed about that. We got only a couple of thousand tickets instead of the 20-25k we would take to the Dome.

Why would he be upset? They don’t play in the Dome anymore. They haven’t for a decade now.

Yeah in the Sugar Bowl at the Super Dome. Not against a G5 school in a 25k seat stadium

They don’t play in the Superdome anymore and they haven’t for a decade now. They don’t have an agreement with the Superdome to play there. They have an on campus stadium of comparable size to Vandy’s, which makes sense given their small enrollment and the interest level in their football program. Speaking of Vandy, just a little over 30,000 people saw us play them last year.

What part of this are you not understanding? Why is it bothering you so much?

What did he expect? Tulane to give us 1/2 of their stadium?

Im aware they don’t play in the Superdome and haven’t for a decade. And that’s a primary reason this trip is beneath us in addition to them being a G5 school. In what way does playing this game benefit us? If we win, it’s “y’all are the SEC. You’re supposed to win this game”.
If we lose, it only damages our brand.

Exactly like the time we traveled to Wyoming and lost and 2015 Memphis. It only benefits the smaller school for us to travel there
