I have to believe we have a line drawn in the sand so to speak. Beyond a certain point the ROI is just not there regardless of how good he becomes.

There are thousands of dollars in the balance. I would be doing the same.

If I had Hugh freeze and lane Kiffin fighting over me and using me to try prove who is better I would be on the fence too. He’s taking both school NIL funds to the cleaners

Law of diminishing returns. Get the money when you can but then it leads to expectations that are difficult to surpass.

IF he commits it doesn’t mean shite until he signs

I’ve stopped getting excited for commitments . Doesn’t matter until they sign and enroll .

The writing appears to be on the wall with this one. All three Ole Miss websites say it’s a done deal.

Assuming he commits, the issue will be holding him through signing day.

ETA: and I still think our insiders are terrible and wouldn't be surprised at all if they are all wrong... Again...

Last week during the grove collective meeting boosters were pissed off about Hugh potentially getting Kam and ponied up a significant amount of funds to fight him. That’s the reason it’s looking like we’re gonna get him. Thankfully the hatred people have for Hugh here is paying dividends

That’s going to have to happen for as long as he’s at Auburn. Whether we want to admit it or not, high school coaches in the state probably like him more than Kiffin at the moment

Hell even then it doesn’t matter (ie Braxton Myers). NCAA needs to fix this shite or get left behind. Eliminating the one free transfer rule would be a start.

I think the one time transfer rule is one of the few things they've gotten right. Just look at our QB room.

Yep, just need a hard limit on 1. After that, you should have to sit a year. Regardless of the reason for the 2nd transfer.

Looks like Auburn insiders are still confident they land Kam.

I know nothing about their insiders, but I'd be shocked if they aren't better than ours so...

Both sides are confident. No way to know what that means unfortunately

We are quietly putting together a damn strong class. We will add two more 4*s in QB Trever Jackson and Noreel White over the next week or two.

I'm happy. Now, we just have to keep him and beating Auburn would be helpful.
