With all of this jimbo nonsense and A&m NIL money getting them all the players....
What's to stop say a 3rd year Bama or ole miss player from entering the portal. With every intention of returning to ole miss or Bama say...
And seeing what enticements or nil deals are used illegally.. then withdrawing their name from the portal and exposing said school.
Random thought I had while reading through the Jimbo presser where he gives a rebuttal to the body bag lane put him in.

Well, WAOM is definitely a thing but the NIL isn't the thing hurting us... yet.

Exactly a Leo Lewis scenario but with the portal. And paperwork for nil in hand and recorded conversations.

So after auburn implodes which players are we gonna target in the portal?

Sheeit. Already got two solid defensive players that are gonna contribute a whole lot. Honestly not sure what our scholarship situation is like but I'll take all the talent we can get

Everything that’s coming out makes the Freeze debacle with us look like nothing. Holy shite.
Posted on 2/4/22 at 2:10 pm to Henry Jones Jr
That’s because it basically was nothing. At least from a money, NCAA violation standpoint anyway. The immoral stuff or whatever was of course a separate issue.

Freeze wouldn't have been fired if it didn't come out along with the NCAA shite. It gave us an excuse to try and offer him up as a sacrifice....but the NCAA didn't give a shite at that point.

What's coming out besides banging the hot assistant to the head coach?

Presumably the issue, like at Arkansas, is hiring the assistant because of the relationship.

Cutcliffe to Texas - have to think the Mannings love that.

Did Kiffin even kick the tires on hiring Cut as an analyst?

Would Cut want to be an analyst at the school that fired him?

Can't wait to see Arch's NIL deal. That is going to be a big one. I guess Caesars might sponsor him.

Ole Miss junior tight end Casey Kelly was awarded a scholarship on Sunday by Rebel head coach Lane Kiffin. Kelly, a native of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and the nephew of former NFL quarterback Jim Kelly, is the younger brother of former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly.
