Go look at McIntyre's DC resume: LINK

It's really not that impressive.

Is it more or less impressive than Matt Luke's head coaching resume?

Woah there Matt Luke beat Mississippi State once, I think he deserves an extension on his current extremely underpaid 12 Million dollar contract

Macs coaching record is weird. He’s got two 10 win seasons at two different programs but every other season he won no more than 5 games. Bizarre

His whole resume is kind of bizarre.

I would rather have him as the HC over Luke

Despite all of his losing, at least he has shown some potential.

It really is a weird dynamic, considering Macintyre has achieved more and will be working under Luke

Well, Luke hasn't achieved anything so the bar is set pretty low.

Thanks, UNC

Early indications on Twitter and message board sauces show Dan Werner, Fedora, and Briles and other candidates that could fill the spot.

He could probably maximize Matt’s QB play but yeah I agree. We need some new blood to energize the fans. Another retread, even a decent one like Dan, would been seen as Matt Luke not having any ability to bring in a non-ole miss guy. Dan wants to job though so we shall see.

Wow, I didn't even know that UNC was searching for a head coach. Congratulation Longo on getting that head coach position that everyone predicted earlier this season due to your TOP 10 OFFENSE.

I hope UNC’s defense is ready to be on the field for 65-80% of the game despite the offense refusing to score touchdowns

frick off, Longo. Happy to see you go

It doesn’t seem like Longo would have been Mack Browns type of coach? Just seems like a bad fit. At any rate, glad he’s not on our sideline anymore.
