Pretty cool how all teams in the conference have winning records overall and most have 30 wins. I guess I've never realized how competitive SEC softball is. You see all the way down to A&M that most losses are coming in conference.

State has a tougher path to the tournament right now than Ole Miss. I think both make it though if they have good showings in the SEC tournament.

Not necessarily SEC, but general question.

What’s so special about Kliff Kingsbury? His teams have been average at best and offenses is especially over-rated year in and year out. What’s getting him all the pub and helping him get into the league?

There is a reason though, his name is Matt Luke. No one wants to coach under him. I bet the only reason MacIntyre even came here was because he thought Luke will be gone after this year so he could slide into the head job.

It doesn’t seem like Longo would have been Mack Browns type of coach? Just seems like a bad fit. At any rate, glad he’s not on our sideline anymore.

Also, I think we ran the ball more in lieu of the bubble screens. I think it is somewhat of a case of doing one instead of the other.

Would you rather appeal or just take it and move on? I’m not sure which I prefer. I wished all this stuff can be put behind us and move forward from today. On the other hand, I’d like to not have a bowl ban next year. Such a fine line. Because if they don’t accept the appeal, it really only continues the cloud over us.

I agree.

Also, the argument of Freeze and Bjork taking this program to a new level and that's why they should be salvaged is absurd. They are also the reason the program is where it is now... be a little realistic. Don't get me wrong, the ride was a good one, but they need to be gone so no further damage is done.

True. I hope DPK sticks around, he is definitely usable. Just think of a Mackey/Brunetti type package with a qb who can actually pass. It could be very nice.

Then he wouldn't be another Mackey. He stayed through thick and thin when he could have went and started at TSU or wherever whenever he wanted.
