re: Coaching changes: McGriff and Longo are gone, Mike MacIntyre the next DC, Rich Rod next OC
Neal said Will Hall is on top of the list.

He was just hired as Tulanes OC

If we hire Dan back Luke will have lost the little trust he has built with the DC hire. I want someone young.

I would love to hire Will Hall but I don't want to have to root against him this year. I want him to stay at Tulane for a year, be very successful, and then we hire him next year onto a staff not headed by Matt Luke.

If he gets Dean Luke will not be fired. The only hope I have for next year is we are going to run the ball alot and slow the play down to help the defense out.

I won't go into names. But if this last name I heard is hired I'm done supporting this team until Luke is fired!

List isn’t good. I’ve also heard that Dan is off the table.

If Will Hall is the best we can’t do I’ll be upset. We are a big time offense and have been for years, there’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to go and get at least a good OC.

There is a reason though, his name is Matt Luke. No one wants to coach under him. I bet the only reason MacIntyre even came here was because he thought Luke will be gone after this year so he could slide into the head job.

FWIW the other name that I've heard is Jedd Fisch, the former OC at UCLA and Michigan. He's the current QB coach for the Rams. He's about as meh of a hire as I can imagine.

He's not even that. He's just their clock management specialist.

Surely he can't think our admin is that dumb. Then again, he did just get a 3yr multi-million deal.

Noel Mazzone would be a nice pick.

* his resume is as good as there is.

He's a retread so he definitely fits the Matt Luke mold.

No endzone Mazzone?

Sure. He was only the OC for Matt when he played. Why not go full circle.

Did I miss where we hired an OC? I know we wouldn’t go through signing day without a coach.

Harris is finally out. He’s going to work with Freeze at Liberty.

Why TF are we waiting for all these clowns to find jobs? Does Matt Luke enjoy not having the balls to fire shitty coaches?

A guy would rather be the OC at Tulane than ole miss, let’s let that sink in for a moment.

It’s almost like like we’re clearly going to have a new coaching staff this time next season and no up and comer wants to chain themselves to a sinking ship

But at least we’re finally rid of Harris. Maybe we can actually get back into Memphis now
