I would love to hire Will Hall but I don't want to have to root against him this year. I want him to stay at Tulane for a year, be very successful, and then we hire him next year onto a staff not headed by Matt Luke.

If he gets Dean Luke will not be fired. The only hope I have for next year is we are going to run the ball alot and slow the play down to help the defense out.

List isn’t good. I’ve also heard that Dan is off the table.
If Will Hall is the best we can’t do I’ll be upset. We are a big time offense and have been for years, there’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to go and get at least a good OC.

There is a reason though, his name is Matt Luke. No one wants to coach under him. I bet the only reason MacIntyre even came here was because he thought Luke will be gone after this year so he could slide into the head job.

FWIW the other name that I've heard is Jedd Fisch, the former OC at UCLA and Michigan. He's the current QB coach for the Rams. He's about as meh of a hire as I can imagine.

It’s almost like like we’re clearly going to have a new coaching staff this time next season and no up and comer wants to chain themselves to a sinking ship
