Feel like he’ll definitely insinuate, if not outright say it, that we pushed him out of the door and he “really wanted to be here” but he felt that the admin and fans weren’t on his side so he had no choice but to go. Anything to play victim.

It really sucks the position those guys are in. Obviously we can't guarantee their jobs until we know who we're hiring. But if they have a guaranteed job with kiffin and he threatens it if they don't join now, what are they supposed to do. Honestly, I'm kind of glad it's all coming out this way so we can see who Lane truly has been this whole time.

If Joe Judge can keep the roster and coaching staff together he might be the head coach next year. We could pay him half of what Lane was getting and use the rest for NIL. I’m not really crazy about any coaches available since it sounds like Sumrall is going to Florida.

I've been talking myself into this possibility too. It's not like the Matt Luke years where you needed an elite HC at Ole Miss to bridge the gap. We've now shown we have the money to bring in elite talent. Keep Pete. Keep CWJ or bring in another great OC. Keep most the assistants - who will keep most of the players.
Joe Judge has been a HC before - he knows how to manage a game and the CEO aspects of being a coach.
There are certainly worse options.

Obviously it's all a guess game - but I don't that that would happen. Or at least not for the same reason. Bill showed up at UNC thinking he would sleep walk his way to a couple 10 win seasons and never have to put in any effort.
By all accounts Joe Judge would put in the effort. If it didn't work out - it wouldn't be for a lack of trying.
