The players jumping in the stands in the student section…they are clearly enjoying the atmosphere tonight.
I’ve parked at Northwest Community College and taken the shuttle over. It’s the roundabout capital of MS you can’t avoid traffic on game day.
I’m working in Charleston but staying in a campground by Lake Marion. It’s a bit of a hike but finding campgrounds that take monthly stays near Charleston is difficult.
Other schools in the conference already do this. Makes sense to me. I say that as someone who would have been affected by this as the only time I bought student tickets, I bought them for an acquaintance that had recently graduated so they could attend with friends.

I’m in South Carolina for work. I’m watching it deep in Gamecock country…wish me luck.

Probably more so

They voted after bowl season and took bowl results into account.
No, Minnesota did. Technically the NCAA recognizes Ole Miss as a co-champion for 1960. The last poll was published before bowl season (that policy was changed in 1965). Minnesota lost their bowl game that year, Ole Miss did not. Apparently students protested by hanging and burning dummies of the AP and UPI polls outside the Union.

True, but I can understand Kiffin’s frustration with attendance. When I worked in Oxford, tickets for non-conference and the Vandy game were given out to employees. If I took tickets I used them. It really is a bad look when they give the tickets out to locals and still don’t fill the Vaught.
That’s all the Kiffins who live in Oxford.
“Velvet Ditch” is a nickname for Oxford. It’s a reference to out of towners who move there temporarily getting sucked in and having a hard time leaving. It’s so warm and comfortable they don’t even care staying wasn’t the plan.

I said something similar on another social media platform today. If Kiffin admires where Spurrier achieved his accolades, he leaves. If Kiffin admires what Spurrier did, he stays and finishes what he started at Ole Miss. If you’re old enough to remember Florida pre-Spurrier, it is somewhat easy to compare the two programs and see similarities.

It cracks me up when Ole Miss fans point out Kiffin is under contract until 2030 and FL fans go nuclear about how we are wrong because they don’t realize Kiffin has 2 contracts.
Did you see on the football social media of the team getting off the plane? Someone asked if they brought the defense this week ???
It’s the SEC. There’s no such thing as a “guaranteed win” in this conference in the NIL era.

Florida is the 31 yr old, used to be super hot chick, with no job, an only fans site, a drug habit, and some mental issues.

And the Florida fans thought I was harsh for comparing them to a middle aged beauty queen lol.
The Brian Kelly interview over 4th quarter play action is chefs kiss.
Think we’re going to hit 100 penalty yards?

Yep we did. We have to play a cleaner game than this against Georgia.
