My grandfather threw a desk at a teacher in the 10th grade (so the story goes) and was sent to Chamberlain Hunt and graduated from there in the 60s.
Great guy/grandfather who lived a full life, just had some anger problems. I think the regiment of the military school was good for him. Didn’t speak a ton about it outside of most of his classmates ended up in Vietnam (and quite a few died) and he always regretted not joining them (married my grandmother and had my mom soon after graduating).

The 49ers have been absolutely solid in recruitment - really impressive honestly. What a difference from the last time in the PL.

Happy for this tbh. I understand the hate after what happened when we were relegated, but he came back (maybe it was forced…..), took his medicine and has played his arse off. Had a good year last year and has looked good this preseason.
Hoping he doesn’t have to start, but he’s a great sub in this 60th-70th minute.

Looks like Joffy is getting his move to Hull for 6.5. All the best to him, will never forget his goal vs. Norwich, hate it never worked out at Leeds.
