surely this isn’t shocking to y’all. Bianco has always preferred out of state kids over Mississippi. Don’t let the 2016 class fool you. Most MS kids don’t go to OM lol bianco acts like he’s too good for Mississippi players and we’ve seen time and time again that this state produces good players

He assumes they'll come here anyways so he doesn't bother recruiting them. It's crazy to think how we have such a strong youth baseball and a coach that doesn't think we need to actively recruit that talent.

Imagine Saban not recruiting players in the state of Alabama....

Tygart did graduate from Hernando, but I believe both his parents went to Arkansas(or something close to that) and he grew up there until moving to the Hernando area his last two years of high school.

Bianco never offered him. To be fair, both of Tygart’s parents grew up in Arkansas and we were his first offer after DVH saw his breaking balls at our summer camp before his sophomore year. State was his second offer (and really his only other offer), so it was down to those 2. He’s been nails this season as Kopps’ replacement.

They don’t care at all

I’m sure this series win will improve some fans morale but let’s be honest …

Mizzou is terrible and this team is not much better than them

It’s like getting rocked week after week in football and beating Vandy 42-7 and fans going on look they’re starting to turn things around !

6 days between posts in this thread.

Binaca has crushed the souls of Ole Miss baseball fans.

We have a baseball program? Is that like a basketball program I keep hearing whispers of?

At this point, if we win each of the last two series 2-1 do we make the tournament?

We would need to win a game or 2 in the SEC tournament.

Bianco has us where where he wants us. 10-14 going into series at LSU and TAM at home with a game against USM in there too. We go 5/6 and get the W vs USM midweek and boom we are in so easy

Kind of hoping LSU sweeps us this weekend to kill any bit of hope anyone may still have

Even our good/best teams don’t win in BR, nothing I’ve seen from this team indicates a change to break the streak

Ahh. The old "I hope we lose to our rival so they'll fire our coach" mindset.....

How about we sweep those corn hole frickers and finish the year strong with some confidence going into the off season?

Sweep Bianco right out of a job.

I have zero confidence in Bianco but I also just don't have it in me to be actively rooting for my favorite team to lose.

Nothing would surprise me this weekend. LSU pitching is pretty average, but they have some really good bats. I think Berry for them is hurt though. I could see us getting swept if our bats are inconsistent or winning the series if our starting pitching keeps being serviceable.

I really want Bianco gone, but I hope we find a way to sneak into the postseason. Regionals isn't the same with no Ole Miss in it.

Some food for thought:

Ole Miss is one of five programs to host at least 10 NCAA Regional appearances since 2004, joining Florida State, Florida, LSU and North Carolina.

Since 2004:

FSU -5 CWS
LSU -6 CWS
UNC -7 CWS
UF -8 CWS

Bianco has criminally underperformed.
He needs to fricking go.
