Physics. Turned down an opportunity in the Naval Weapons Lab in Dahlgren, Va., and went with a career in Telecommunications. It worked out well for me.

Finance, ended up in Cloud Computing Software Sales

Although I'm more interested in a career in Hunting/Farming land real estate. Something like Mossy Oak properties. Took me only 3 years post grad to realize I don't like what I am doing.

I read thru this backwards and kept wondering why who replied in each page until I realized it was a zombie thread.

I am a Civil Engineer also. We are about calculating and modelling load distributions not re-distributing income.

AS in Occupational Safety, BS in BusAdmin with a minor in Marketing and recently an MBA.

The AS was a way to "cash out" after switching majors a dozen times. A few months of working found me back in the saddle of school so I wrapped up the BS like I should have the first time.

3 years ago I got the itch for an MBA and my employer funded it. Yay.

I don't have a college degree. But I do have enough credits to earn more than a associates degree at 83 credit hours.
