Math: basic addition, subtraction, etc; you have to understand basic stats-Bayesnian
Chemistry: some acid/base type stuff and basic ion type things; not overly complicated
Initially you learn some formulas, etc. Eventually most things are handled in a stepwise manner. You make adjustments based on experience and the patient, etc.

I was a history major, liberal arts degree. Spent 34 years in pharmaceutical sales after working for a nonprofit for 6 years.
I doubt a pharmaceutical company would even give me an interview today were I a young pup.

I work as an EHS Manager for GE Renewables. Both of my degrees fit into the role, but it would have been easier to get a degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
