Mizzou
sec: auburn and bama. Lost to both in championship games.
non-conference: jumbos, tutors, athletes' inability to keep their women in line.

re: In the market for a truck. Ford or RAM?
Posted by zou_keeper on 2/5/20 at 1:43 pm
I bought a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie crew cab last year in January. Love it. The crew cab is massive..the back seats actually recline. The finishes are much nicer than ford in my opinion. I got the upgraded safety features, the truck practically drives itself. I paid 42k on a 55k sticker. To get the same feature in a ford I would have paid at least 12-15k more. Absolutely recommend the Ram, but don't think you would be making a mistake with a F150 either. For me it came down to the features I wanted and the price to get them.

What would be wrong with Heupel? I would be excited about that hire.

I personally enjoy Grand Teton national park more than Yellowstone. That being said, going to Yellowstone at least once in your life is worth it. You want to stay in Yellowstone for the best experience. Cabins book up fast, not too sure about the camp sites.
There is a lot of driving in Yellowstone. Speed limits are slow and roads are crowded.
Bring a decent pair of binoculars. I forgot mine last summer and ended up buying an overpriced set in Jackson Hole.
Also, be prepared to walk a lot. That is the only way it is really worth it. At Ol' Faithful there is a trail that I think is about 2.5 miles one direction. So many people don't do this, but they really should. Not only do you get to see so much more, these areas are going to be less crowded.

Mizzou football is meaningless in 2019, congrats.
How is this unique to 2019?

Spectrum as an ISP provider?
I have had them in St Louis for 3.5 years. Never had an outing. Two speed options - 200 or 300 Mbps. Consistently get what I pay for.
Even with the same ISP, I am sure this varies a decent amount from city to city.
re: Project Management Tools/Programs
Posted by zou_keeper on 8/22/18 at 3:37 pm
We use Asana. I work for an engineering firm, so I imagine its applications could translate to construction management.
Good for assigning/following tasks, adding notes, collaborating, and tracking progress. You can set up a template that you copy and paste into every new project and then customize from there...that's what we do anyway. I know you can upload and share files. Not sure if there are size limitations to that.
eta - if you are looking for a true PM tool that includes financial/budgeting tools, then this is not what you are looking for. Asana is really meant for organizing projects for managers/supervisors and their teams.

I am not from St Louis. Just currently residing here.
That being said, you couldn't double my salary and convince me to move to columbia, sc.

Clearly, you have never been columbia, sc. Who gives a
shite about their atheletic facility set up? The entire town and campus are probably the trashiest I have ever visited. I honestly feel bad for the kids that go there.

Mizzou with a commanding lead against bama the whole game. bama beats them in the last fricking minute. unlikely as it is, if Mizzou has a commanding lead the whole game, this is exactly how it would end. frick being a Mizzou fan. frick this simulation. it just gave me all the pain of the season. let me continue enjoying the offseason in peace.
