Refined sugar that I'm not supposed to have anyway.

Procrastination - success will be measured by post count.

I'm Presbyterian; we give up stuff for Lent, too.

I usually give up something such as coffee like I did last year. This year, instead of giving something up I am reading the bible nightly before I go to bed for 15 minutes. I've never read the whole thing before.

Technically, the Methodist Church is a shootoff from the Catholic and in it's doctrine you are supposed to abide by the rules of the Catholic Church.

Soda, mostly because it's the last thing between me and my fitness goals. Been able to give up almost everything else I wanted to, but I do love me some Dr. Pepper and whiskey/Coke.

Just because you're not getting any doesn't mean you can lump it in to a "sacrifice" for Lent.

I'm giving up masturbation. This 2x a day thing has got to stop. I'm like a monkey chewing bubble gum and furiously beating myself.

I hope I don't kill someone.
