States where your money goes further.

It’s not just about what you make

I've lived in both and by far Mississippi has the poorest areas. South Carolina is full of single wide trailers whereas Mississippi orders pizza delivery so they can use the box to plug holes in their shacks.

I’m making a pretty good living in NY.

Then again I guess not a lot of people are as blessed

People hate on Mississippi and I don't get why. It is a largely rural state where people aren't bothered, there are beaches and gambling, there are plenty of activities for people who love the outdoors and the cost of living is non-existent. If you like college football, there are 3 FBS programs for you to enjoy, and it's a short drive to plenty of cities in Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida.

I would rather live in Charleston than anywhere in Texas.

Depends on where you live in Mississippi as is the case with most states. The coast is a leader in growing economies. Mississippi is just extremely low on population and areas that can grow. Unlike the mini country of Texas.

Retired in Ms. As an outdoorsman, if I want to deer hunt, fresh water fish I do it in Ms, if I want saltwater fishing I go to South La. if I want beaches and pretty water I go to S Alabama, or Florida. All less than a 5 hour drive. I’m happy right where I am.

I’m doing very well, living and working South Carolina. Outside of Georgia, wouldn’t live anywhere else in the U.S.

Alabama must be a state in which your ancestors were weak arse biyatches. It looks like Florida and Mississippi bitch slapped your asses and took your coastline. You should thank them for giving you the little bit that you do have

In all actuality Mississippi pretty much gave Alabama everything it has now. I think Florida chipped in Mobile bay. You're welcome

How much to keep you on retainer for UGA football games? Had several close calls these past 10 years or so.

I fly these days so it'll take a bit to have me give my tix up to work.
