Ugghh. I hate "studies" like this. SC and MS may well be "the worst SEC states to make a living", for those settling for shitty jobs with no education.

I’m 27 making 80k a year with free health insurance, company truck and free gas, and 401k benefits in MS

My commute is 14 miles along the beach. Takes me less than half an hour.

Rent is cheap, houses are cheap, and public schools are decent enough.

Sc maybe cheap but where I live in the north myrtle beach area it's expensive to live. Also in Charleston it's on new York and LA level
