I mean, I'm 33. A doctor. Just had my 4th child last week. I still feel a little like I'm playing house. However, to hear my 18 year old sitter talk about decorating her dorm seems like a lifetime ago. While the days are long, the years are short. Where does the time go?

Least subtle brag thread ever.

And yes, sometimes it's weird.

It is a subtle brag thread to a certain extent. Fortunately/unfortunately I'm better at getting my wife pregnant than anything else that I do.

I'm 20 and struggle with the fact I'm not a teenager

Glad to know this condition will continue for a while

Nah it does seem like just yesterday I was an 18 year old hell raiser and the older I get the more I'm reminded I can't do a lot of things I used to do.

33 with four children? You would think that, as a doctor, you would be well versed in the use of prophylactics.

Or maybe she's just really, really fertile.

Could all be Jody's fault, too. Just sayin'.

Yeah, it felt a little weird when I got my doctorate in nuclear engineering and bought my 3rd vacation home in France. It is a different feeling.

All I know is the years go by faster as you age. I'm 62 and my current 365-day year now goes by in, oh, maybe 180 or so days. You think I'm shitting you, but ask anyone over 55.

I'm 45 and time does fly by a lot quicker than it used to. I saw an article just yesterday mentioning that Bama and Louisville haven't played each other since 1991.

That's 24 years! I remember that beatdown by Louisville like it was yesterday. These whipper snappers have no idea how realizations like that will kick you in the nuts.

53, buried my dad today and it was strange seeing relatives with families and I last saw them as children. It flies by, people waste their lives trying to fit into a mold.

Yes. And what's odd is that I was accused of being 'wise beyond my years' as a kid. Now though I don't really feel like an adult. It seems crazy that I'm in charge of shite - like what are they thinking?! But I think that's pretty normal and I'm not sure it ever changes unless you just choose to become crotchety.
