re: Phobias / Fears - Got any?

At age 63, I'm ... well, not exactly fearful but increasingly cognizant about the possibility of outliving myself.

This happened to my poor mother and father, and I will not go the same route if I have any ability at all to avoid it.

No useless years of incapacitation for me, thanks. It's simply good sense to be a bit vigilant about this matter as one ages.

In June 2015, I invested $650,000 in the equities market, a portfolio created for me by CSSC, INC. OF TROY, MICHIGAN, an investment advisory firm.

Six weeks later, I had LOST $150,000, enough to buy my dream car, a 2008 Bentley Continental, plus several ounces of cocaine and a couple weeks' worth of prime escort service.

Moral of the story:
• Do not play the stock market, especially through CSSC, INC. OF TROY MICHIGAN.
• Instead, spend your capital on fancy cars, hookers and blow. You will live--and die--a much happier man.

OP needs to adopt an IDGAF attitude about this and maybe most issues in his life. Just stop giving a frick about what she and other people do. You'll be happier, much happier, if that means anything to you.

I just made a T-shirt that reads PRO-APATHY in big bold letters, and the response has been pretty good so far, an indication that I'm on to something. PRO-APATHY will be the big thing this year, so here's a heads up to the OP, get with it.

Or not. I don't give a frick.

You sound like a pretty good dude, doing what you have to do after beating cancer. Who gives a frick what you do for a living, that doesn't matter.

Close the deal on signing day and a top 10 preseason ranking for 2016 is very likely.

We're always ranked in the top 10 preseason. It's where we end up that's the problem.

Just the same I'm looking forward to an improved team in 2016--a team that is at least more competitive against its top conference opponents than the 2015 Tigers were.

Sir Issac Fig Newton FTW.

I believe BH will be better in 2016. How much better I cannot say.

His pass efficiency rating of 130.5 ranked Harris #7 among SEC QB's, per ESPN. He'd have to be among the top 3 next season for us to have a chance at winning our division IMO.

Absolutely. I predict this is gonna work out great.

Love

Yes. I mean yes to Love ... not the group Yes.

Love was cursed by, well, lots stuff. Shoulda/coulda/woulda been a R'nR HOF band.

Here are some lyrics I wrote in homage to Hendrix, Sly Stone and Arthur Lee in a song called "The Legendary, Incendiary Psychadelic Free":

Arthur Lee, acid poet,
unto himself a trip,
Afro-shaman pied piper
of the Sunset Strip,
the hip and tuned in dug his sound,
cast a musical spell,
but a bullshite rap
left him trapped
in a prison cell ...

RIP A. Lee.

It's amazing to me that people still pay money to watch Axl Rose maybe show up and howl like a shot dog

Yeah, I mean the Axl Rose who will hit the stage with Slash is some fat old frick who lost his voice. Not worth price of admission unless you want to just laugh at his fat arse.
