Go review your statistics that you have been tabulating as you pretend to have any clue what you are talking about

by late July note a rapid drop in cases. Kickoff will happen in SEC no later than Oct. 3rd. By mid season full stadium attendance will be allowed. IMHO.

I hope you are right. If that is the case I would expect even if the SEC drops out of conference games that some of the SEC Powers will go ahead and play a couple of OOC games.

If all you Einstein’s had wore a mask over the past few months rather than mumble crap like "Muh freedom" or went on and on about they don’t work, well we would be having football this season. Just brilliant.

Oh, and masks, they do work:

Fox News report, not CNN, for you true believers.

Also note, Fearless Orange leader wore a mask yesterday.... after 130,000 deaths in the US.

For those too lazy to click on the link.

“Everyone should wear a mask,” Blumberg said. “People who say, ‘I don’t believe masks work,’ are ignoring scientific evidence. It’s not a belief system. It’s like saying, ‘I don’t believe in gravity.’"

“We do know social distancing reduces the risk of transmitting the virus by 90 percent, and wearing masks decreases the risk by 65 percent."

That’s not true. The virus would still be here and the impending restrictions would be no different

It’s not that the virus is here that is the problem. It’s how prevalent is it, so wearing a mask with SF would have made the difference.

We took measures to prevent it happening and it worked, sorry the concept is too complex for you to grasp.

You are a perfect example of the problem on this issue and most others this nation faces, why would you assume I watch CNN? This is not about politics.

It is sad so many of you are obedient little sheep who are incapable of any thought on your own and must be spoon fed by ideologues in order to form "your" opinion, and this is both sides of the political spectrum.

Not accurate. The virus would still be here. The numbers are pretty irrelevant in terms of what restrictions would be in place.

“If y’all would have just worn a mask then we would...” still be asked to wear mask, social distance and limit large gatherings. Same as it ever was

Well, until we STOPPED doing them and it promptly STOPPED working.

Weird how that works.

yeah, if we'd all stayed home and wore masks the numbers would be down. then we open football and guess what? the numbers go up, and what's the solution? that's right. shut it back down.

the logic is tautological. we can't escape lockdowns, mask wearing, loss of all freedom and libert, the things we love to do, all because we're going to POSTPONE a few deaths.

if the pandemic is so bad, how come the death rate is not even 150 K over what it was at this time last year in the US? the overall deathrate is normal, or even below? is that relevant?

Exactly what was supposed to be stopped. Why are people moving the goal posts?

I thought the goal was to prevent hospital loads from getting out of hand. How did we go from that to this idea that we must prevent every death?

None of it would have happened to start with if they had advertised the 0.25% fatality rate that is the reality.
