What's up with this? OK or not?

Not bothered by it in the least and I can't understand why it bothers others.

150 years ago, if you told a woman not to breastfeed in public, you were basically telling her to starve her child (or never go out in public).
I for one don't think that just because formula is available that this sentiment is any less barbaric.

I am also in favor of nudism in general. Why are humans the only species that hide their genitalia under artificial coverings?

Not a big deal in the slightest.
Amusing the "reasons" people trot out there against it, tbh.

Gross AF
And your rationale for it being any "grosser" than people sitting at a table and eating in public?

Don't mind him. He's just jealous that the baby gets to suck a titty without having to lie.

It's as natural as me staring at you as you do it.

If it is that vs. the kid crying I'm all for her poppin her titty out

I don't understand why anyone has a problem with it.

Anyone who has an issue with it is an idiot. I will say it can be distracting to see a boob hanging out, so if the woman doesn't want to be starred at she should bring a covering. But no issue with it either way.

Have something to cover up with to have a little decency.

I'm 41 and I've never seen a woman just flop it out in public, and I've seen public breast feeding numerous times. They always display some modesty and keep it covered.
Not sure why people have a problem with this.

I prefer that they attempt to keep it covered somewhat. Generally don't care much.
However, don't bitch if people stare, take pictures, and do other legal stuff.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. It does strike me as odd that a woman can't just bare her breast unless it is to feed her child.

It's not illegal to breastfeed in public, so that's a non-issue. If people start taking pics, etc they shouldn't cry when the woman's husband walks over and whips their a$$ either. Just be respectful and go about your business if you see a woman breastfeeding, none of your business--move along. Babies have a right to eat too.

Here's a bit of information for you. You're 100% correct that it isn't illegal to breastfeed in public places. You know what else is legal? Taking photographs of people or objects in public places.
What isn't legal is walking up and assaulting someone who is engaged in a legal activity. That a$$ whipping will accomplish two things - land his arse in jail and cost him a lot of $$ in fines and civil judgement.
I agree with everyone else, there's nothing wrong with it at all but the mother should have the decency to simply use a light coverup - which also as others have said is the norm. I'm even older than Spleen and like him I've never seen a woman just whip a puppy out so it really isn't an issue at all.
