Maybe it depends on which location you go to. My nearest one (not Tuscaloosa) has always been good.

No surprise opinions are all over the place here, but come the frick on.
I have yet to meet a person in real life that enjoys that chopped onion shite.

Have to make sure I'm sitting down before I sink my teeth into THE pattymelt; I get weak in the knees.

As long as there is a Milo's in Tuscaloosa, there is no need for Whataburger.
Not a fan of Milo's. I ate at one back around 1990 and threw up within a couple of hours. Waited 25 years and decided to try again. Nearly had the same outcome.
Whataburger is popular in small Texas towns because they offer variety, serve decent fast food breakfast, and are open 24 hours.

Am I the only one who goes to Whataburger for their great ketchup (eg just order fries)?
Oh and no Southern burger is worse than Krystal. White Castle beats them by
3 flushes.

I honestly didn't realize there wasn't one in Tuscaloosa. They've been in the Birmingham area for almost fifteen years.

Having a lot of Texas kids enrolled will make it an overnight success. The first one in Fayetteville was located a 1/4 mile from campus and the drive-thru backed up traffic on the street for weeks.

This. It's a good burger, but honestly it's pretty similar to sonics burgers.
I've never understood why Burger King and backyard burgers don't get much love. I like them both as well but I prefer the charbroiled flavor they have

The problem I have with McDonald's is the quality of meat is very poor and upsets my stomach.
If I eat anything there it's breakfast or something off the value menu. If I'm going to spend 9 bucks on a fast food meal I'll go to a place of quality. McDonald's doesn't have the "cheap" advantage on their combos anymore like they used to.
