How does a HFC get an extension after this season's results?

Exceed the over under wins at the start of the year and if they win a bowl will e3nd up ranked. I know we all wanted more but seriously you guys are getting old with the constant shitting on Drink.

Would you have watched that game and said “Man. The coach is obviously a top coach in the country.”

IM not "shitting" on him. He literally called out the fan base, TSF folks and corporate side to support the program properly. Task complete.

We can critique him.

I'll stop shitting on him if he re-discovers that the forward pass and the middle of the football field for said passes are allowed, by rule.

Cause we can't win games against better teams until he discovers this reality.

What happened to our defense this season was coaching malpractice

Let me guess..."He's a good coach because we've had really bad coaches in the past."

If you seriously gave Mizzou donors any credit, you would realize the resources he wastes by having Moore as an OC and sticking with Pribula. Yet having the nerve to call out donors.

He had money and 1 job during portal season. He missed on 1 (Miller) and then burned 1.5 million on Pribula who had 56 career completions. And he puts the offense at a disadvantage by continuing to play him. He was hired for his acumen with offense, in what universe is he even competent with the offense?

He has built a foundation.

We have talent and depth like no team in my lifetime. He did not do enough with that talent and depth this year.

That foundation gave him the extension.

If he continues to bring in the talent and depth, improves the offensive coaching, improves the special teams coaching, and starts taking the next steps to becoming a top level team, he will stay.

If he is stubborn and does not change any of the problems that held this year's team back, he will be let go in a couple of seasons.

Modern college football reality

Drink used NIL money to "Buy" a foundation. He purchased top 5 portal classes. Drink hired Moore and Gleeson. Between those 3, all they had to build was a competent offense.

Think about it this way. Penn State thinks too much of themselves. They were interested in Drink but he showed them he was not up to being their coach.

Mizzou fan thinks so little of the football program they believe its too much to ask for a 9 million dollar coach to be competent.

If Pribs wins the job - that is a scary statement on the QB room as a whole.

I give donors and administration zero credit because the past 20 years of the basketball program has been atrocious sans one elite 8 run, the football coach we hired wasted the most naturally talented Missouri QB besides Gabbert (and now just went winless at Purdue in conference). Yeah Missouri coaching searches scare me. Sorry,

I was just doing some quick mental math. Since 2005 we’ve had 3 football coaches, six basketball coaches, and 5 ADs. No I absolutely don’t trust the hiring process.

Drink is elite in recruiting and the NIL if he can get his Saturdays straightened out he will be going to the playoff next year

A yuuuge unanswered question is why does the offense hum like a well oiled machine with a beautiful run-pass mix on the initial scripted drive, then completely collapse thereafter? Is it players sucking, coaches sucking, coaches not digging deep enough (or having the time) to script 50 plays instead of 10?

No matter, Drink's heaviest recruiting job better be at offensive coordinator.

Vandy is an outlier right now, they are having their once in a generation run, it's not sustainable.
