You’re definitely right on the favor aspect/hbcu ties. Honestly I agree it doesn’t bother me either, as long as we perform against quality teams. I could not careless if we have the 361st noncon if we finish in the top 5 of the sec and make it to the second week of the tournament. It becomes an annoyance when we look so underprepared in the big games.
Don’t get me wrong, we’re terrible with everyone, but like we havent even been able to field a coherent team. It sucks that there’s injuries but cripes. There’s always just something going on. I’m almost conspiratorial at this point. I think he schedules no one to pump up the wins and then fields half a team against quality competition to make an excuse for the loss. I am not defending him with this either, it’s every single year there’s some f’n rub with who can play. Figure out how to field a team or get out.
We will have no program success until Dennis Gates actually puts together a roster that can literally step on the court and play. Tired of having players who can’t play because of some mystery situation, some mystery illness or some mystery injury

I was just doing some quick mental math. Since 2005 we’ve had 3 football coaches, six basketball coaches, and 5 ADs. No I absolutely don’t trust the hiring process.

I give donors and administration zero credit because the past 20 years of the basketball program has been atrocious sans one elite 8 run, the football coach we hired wasted the most naturally talented Missouri QB besides Gabbert (and now just went winless at Purdue in conference). Yeah Missouri coaching searches scare me. Sorry,

Your O line gets overmatched when play calling is predictable.

Somehow Texas has the possession arrow again. They’re gonna get two straight jump balls and the ball at half

Texas getting two jump balls in a row. Bang up job by the officials.
I salute your acknowledgement. I acknowledge it was a 2 by grill. I bid you goodnight and good game.

For anyone who doesn’t want to click on the link it’s a horrendous non goaltending call that was even reviewed.
is that bad thing? No one has done less with more. The only time he ever does anything is with a generational talent (Rose, Wall, KAT, AD, Camby) and he only has one national title to show for it.
Naw, we’re gonna build the hill bigger, better, higher.

Gary had a player die under his supervision. Not saying it’s forgivable or not. But it did happen

Looks like a lot of people choose not to live in Louisiana
That’s crazy I wish they could be more like New Orleans

I thought about this but he’s a DT so his coach wasn’t going to change either way
That’s why I’m not really worked up about this. If it wasn’t this year it was going to be next year. We were going to have to regroup at some point in the near future.

If you guys are going to take pride in ignoring Missouri and pretending it doesn’t exist that’s fine but then don’t make comments like this. People associated with the university have finished comments associated with the university with MIZ for a long time.

I’m not saying he’s a good or bad hire but why would you make someone co-defensive coordinator to eventually not make him coordinator
