This seems insane to bring Texas and Oklahoma in. I am disappointed. Missouri voting for it is incomprehensible. I have to wonder what we could possibly be getting out of this, or are we just the whipping boy.

This was a pretty good one in there:

They eventually ran rough shod over the big 8 who when Texas joined had Oklahoma Colorado and Nebraska at their peaks

I'll say this: About the only silver lining in this is that the SEC brand + Drink's charisma will take hold of the entire state. kansas may go to the B10, but it won't be the same. They'll be Rutgers Midwest on the gridiron. The younger generations will only know SEC football.

It’s interesting that all these “leaks” are coming from inside the Big 12 (read Texas). Nothing at all from the SEC. Not a whimper.

The B1G is not taking ku. There is no conversation happening. The B1G is interested in okie lite. They will-end up in the mwc with kstate.

This is funny.. we may have to reschedule ksu in 2022 and ku in 2025 to get a power conference team on the schedule

I wouldn't be surprised if this is just for more power and more money for Texas and OU from the Big 12. It makes you appreciate that Mizzou left when they did.

The Big 12 is offering everything they can to keep them.

I don't think Oklahoma State is an AAU University so they have no shot at the B1G. Look for the B1G to potentially take Iowa State and Kansas. And if Mizzou had stayed put, they'd probably be looking at a looming B1G invite right about now.

Agreed. They’re lucky we left when we did.

The funniest part to me is not only ku begging for a B1G invite, but the jackass AD Mack Rhoades at Baylor. I would laugh my arse off if they get left high and dry.

It just shows the Big 12 is AAC caliber without OU and Texass.

Who says Big 12 will pick off AAC teams, could be the other way around.

OU and Texass are leaving in 2025. Time bomb ticking. What's Matt Campbell going to do.

I mean you genuinely have to feel bad for most of those schools. You're just hanging out in your conference you've been in forever with your bros and then something like this happens.

The Big Ten should definitely offer Iowa State. Matt Campbell should leave if they stay in the remains of the Big 12.

Where would he go? So right now it isn't looking good for Matt Campbell.

I'm not sure they bet on Iowa State. Without Campbell, they are a dumpster fire and he could get a big offer any day now. And then their stuck with another bad program in a media market they already have.

I'm betting on WV and Okie Lite.

Matt Campbell can go just about anywhere he wants.. Off the top of my head..

1 - Michigan
2 - USC
3 - If Ed Orgeron has another bad year, LSU.

He needs to make a move as soon as the dust settles.

Oof. They should get to vote no anyways just on principle. It doesn't matter since everyone else was going to vote yes.
