Looks like Dan Mullen will replace Odom at UNLV

Hey how about full disclosure. Let's talk about your HOME won-loss Record at that high school grade stadium you're finally replacing.

You've lost more there than you've won. Look it up.

Missouri lost to LSU and Georgia.

Oklahoma lost to Oklahoma State and Baylor.

Who you calling overrated.

Who?

Oh yeah, they left for another conference and found a New World Order
Totally agree. Cutler v2.0

All the mechanics, and physical. But it's the moxy. Every play should be dangerous for the defense.

I think we've seen this play out before.

So, unless something better comes along, I'm willing to sign with you guys.

I don't take it as a commitment.

He got a tryout, with a number of other players. He did not get a contract. Justin Watson did.

Not sure if its over or not.

Ray got hit by injuries and remaining a backup at Denver. Has been playing in the CFL. Hasn't played in the NFL since 2018.

Could also be a Plan B insurance policy if Steve Wilks defense doesn't show up until the 7th game.
It's a 5yr old article on student prices for SEC games. Not sure if this is still true, but 5yrs ago we had the 2nd highest prices for students to go to games.

Maybe we should follow USCe and be part of the tuition. Or better yet, charge them for not showing up.
I'm concerned about the trenches too.

They inflicted heavy damage running the ball. If we were fortunate we were winning or tied through out. They got predictable in the 4th trying to pass, and that's where we got all those sacks.

If we fell behind, their ground game would have punished us.

If I were KY, I'd run against us 3 of 4 times.

They still have a career Home losing record. I believe that's the only one in P5.

I kept reading. These guys really believe they are the ONLY school that keeps the B12 a P5. Delusional! They have no idea.

Burden told OU last night he's decommitting.

Now it's either Mizzou or UGA. We seem to be leading

Turns out DRF knows Cuonzo. Her son plans to try and walk-on.

Probably saw what you saw. No details.

Saw that on the forums. Also listening to the sunshine pumpers too.

Legal, NIL, and fund raising seem to be her strong points, and quite probably what Choi was most interested in.

But I'm fearing the ghost of Babs Uelling is upon us.
It would not surprise me if 5yrs after joining, Texas will start bitching about revenue sharing, with the same mentality that sunk the B12, and point to smaller schools as not producing enough cash. It also wouldn't surprise me if they even float the idea of replacing these smaller schools with better revenue producing schools.

But it's still a conference with 14, and soon to be 16 members. Everybody has a vote. I'm sure alliances would be made. If Vandy is kicked out, who's next? There's also tradition and rivalries. It's much easier to leave, than it is to get kicked out.

re: Recruiting and Division Placement

Wrestling is also a problem for Oklahoma. And Oklahoma State and Iowa State and West Virginia.

Maybe SEC now having two premier wrestling schools will consider bringing it back. (I know, hope/prayer).

As far as division placement, seems a given by most that we move West and Alabama schools head East, which almost makes the East all original SEC and West the new kids.

Personally I want to stay East, because I'll be moving to Florida.

But our best hope is moving to four 4 team pods, and the creation of a northern pod of us, Kentucky, Tenn and Vanderbilt. But probably another hope/prayer.

re: Some Buzz About Sterk

Posted by Stlox on 7/29/21 at 9:45 am
I think in the final analysis, Sterk is a mixed bag.

Fund raising has been phenomenal.

But his choices for HC for all sports hasn't been great. Don't forget, to replace Odom his first list sucked badly, so much so the BOC rejected it. Drink was after that.

I'll bet he objected to TX and OU, loudly.
Really amazing how they can insult us, AND expect us to be their dance partner. Delusional.
