I wonder how close Dickey and Odom are, they coached together at Memphis

Ehhh, from what I've read he really wasn't involved in any type of coverup or sweeping under the rug.

I agree that the optics are not great, but then again he was hired at FAU without much fuss.

Wouldn't worry too much about it though, because we probably won't be able to get him.

Lol. Don't kid yourself, he was balls deep in it just like his dad.

How about Andy Hill as OC and Cornell Ford as DC.

They have paid their dues at Mizzou if they want the jobs. These 2 have so much experience I wager they have some good ideas and know a thing or 2 about football.

Rockmnation has a list of 25 possibilities

I would rather go the Co-OC route and name Finley and Elarbe CO-OCs

I don't know. UCF is probably in a better position for success than a lot of lower P5 jobs, which is what Heupel would have been looking at/for if he had stayed one more season.

He has a chance to make noise quickly with Shannon as a DC and recruiter in Fl, especially if UCF is bringing any players back from this season's team!

This is out of the box thinking I like. Wentz is making him look very good at the moment.

ND St did not just win, they steamrolled year after year.

We need to leave Ford where he is after watching the job he has done with the RBs. Do you remember what kind of back Witter was a couple of seasons ago?

Same with Hill. Do you remember what the WRs looked like 2 seasons ago. Hill had his chance at QB coach. Needs to stay with the WRs.

Again, I dont see how we are going to hire a OC that is also not a QB coach.

Someone explain how that is going to work.

You can do that if one of the position coaches is promoted to OC or if the 10th assistant is the QB coach.

Both Memphis and UCF run an offense very similar to ours. One of those two would be a great addition.

Interesting name. Former Mizzou QB. Was pass game coordinator for UCLA this season. UCLA had the #5 passing offense in the country last year. Haven't seen anything saying Kelly will retain him

Do anybody think that Heupel will try to bring Joe Jon Finley and Elarbee along with him? If he does and we lose Lock next year

Might be worth a call before they finalize anything.

Both of those guys could be options at Mizzou. The only way they follow is if they don’t get the OC position here, and are offered the OC position at UCF

Here's a thought -- Hiring all of us as co-OCs?

Salary may be an issue, but what price can you place on success?
