It’s probably a good move with how pass happy football is now to have more secondary coaches.

Salt That’s what Mizzou ran last season and kept the DC.

Ok Mizzou still needs at least 2 players to leave before the end of the season to get up to the NCAA D1 men’s basketball average for departures.

Yes I was off by a year. Minis still at 30% transfer rate. That means someone else will probably transfer after the season. It might take 2 more transfers to get up to the NCAA D1 basketball average.

That said, about 40% of all MBB players who enter Division I directly out of high school depart their initial school by the end of their sophomore year.

You must have a different source. On the NCAAs website it shows 40% transfer before their sophomore season.

Nothing about today’s game was enjoyable. Mizzou basically no showed. Weatherspoon was involved in a tutor scandal similar to what happened at Mizzou. 10 games was the extent of their punishment.
Didn’t say it wasn’t. Although I’m not bothered by transfers. 40% of freshmen basketball players don’t make it to their sophomore season at their first school. The transfer rate for Cuonzo is 30%.

Enjoy the next 2 years because he isn’t going anywhere.

The other 3 have all transferred again.
2021 will be guard heavy. Maybe they bring in a sit out transfer this spring.

Need to bring in 2 guards asap
Do they? There were 5 guards ahead of him this season and all of them are set to return next season.
Needs for next season a grad transfer big if Tilmon goes pro or a scorer that can jump in and be the go to scorer.

40% from 3 now over the last 7 games. They should finish around 36-38% in conference based on how they have shot the ball in previous seasons.
The shooting is an outlier. The getting to rim and getting points in the paint shouldn’t be.

That’s not what the offense was about. Even prior to the Florida game Mizzou has been among the nation’s leaders in post touches.
Paint touches against Florida were different then what Mizzou had been doing though. Only a few were on postups. They did a great job hitting the dive man off the pnr and using their dribble to get there. Those are both more efficient ways to score in the paint.

The more accurate this team is at hitting a 3’s, the fewer other teams will give up. Which opens the paint. Over the last 7 games they are shooting 40% from 3. That includes 4 quad 1 games.

Stats only show 70 possessions. Mizzou was more decisive within its offense. Made shots and got to the rim. Mizzou also didn’t walk the ball up the court as much. Cuonzo has been talking about playing this way since he was hired. The sets and most of the shots aren’t different than what they have been doing all season.

That’s an extra 4 possessions. 70 in this game to 66 in both the first 2 conference games.
They were quicker and more decisive within the offense.
