If it’s from the current staff, I have no idea. Joe Jon Finley?

Wow.

Good for him, but it's bad timing for us.

I could see Finley being promoted, but we would still be hiring a new QB coach and I'm not sure what this means for Lock or any incoming recruits that Heupel was recruiting.

Damn...

There’s some good MM OC’s out there.
1 possibility is Graham Harrell at North Texas. In the last couple of years he’s had a similar impact on that offense to what Huepel did at Mizzou.

Promote Elarbee and hire a QB coach.

Why? lol Huepel deserved a shot at HC... UCF gave it to him... BO has nothing to do with it.

I am curious if we go out and at least try to get another proven OC.

Or will MIZZOU pull another "Walters"?

All is not lost. Let's see who they land.

There should be plenty of "Air Raid" guys out there. But i'm guessing Finley is next up.

This makes a Foster Commit damn near impossible. Also just a few days before Martinez visits.

Damn, Huepal grabbed Randy Shannon as DC. Nice move.

That would save money and fill a hole just like Walters at DC.

Then we can lock down El and Brick

Continuity was the way Mizzou was going to sell itself to all those commits whose schools no longer had a head coach.

It sucks losing Huepel.... Yet I'm happy for him.... He deserves this shot.

It just sucks for us

Doesn't TCU use 2? Maybe we can steal 1.

Will be interesting to see this play out.

Heupel nabs Randy Shannon as his DC? If so, bit of a coup for him.

I think Odom will look for a Heupel clone. With a guy who really was ready to be a head coach, he may be a little tough to replace.
