Eh, I'd be skeptical of that hire. I think three of their top four scorers are at least juniors and one senior. His first three years were bad too and St. John fans wanted him gone.

10 point win in a place we haven’t won at but once in 20 seasons.
15-8, with at least 9 games (8 regular season, 1 SEC Tourney) to go.

Seat belt sign is now on.

Seat belt hell! The air bag has deployed, the collision avoidance system is screaming, anti-lock brakes are engaged, and we’re still hurtling toward a head on with a tanker truck full of gasoline.

This was posted on February 9.
We are now 17-13. Our record in the last month -- when good basketball teams are peaking -- is 2-5. I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure that's almost exactly what our record has been every single year under Avery Johnson during this same stretch.
There is no logical reason to keep him as coach.

See my other post in the basketball thread. His record down the stretch is horrible. Last 5 games of the year he’s posting a .250 win percentage.

RA'd for anchor. This is just a poor troll attempt at this point

if God saves Avery's jobs and we go on a miracle run in the SEC tournament.... then we know he hates Alabama Basketball.

How is that a troll??? You lame. I still support Avery... so just stop that.
