For that matter you could say everything between Bryant and Saban because Saban is way way better than Stallings

I'll go semi recent defensive coordinators in Ellis Johnson and Ted Roof.

Those guys absolutely ruined Auburn's defense for several years.

I have not a bad word to say about Coach Stallings. Hell of a coach (won a NC and was a game away from playing for another; created solid fundamentally sound teams) and a better man.

Everything in between he and Saban was hot garbage.

Agree. Grateful for the improvement under the new crew, as I think the S&C game may have left Cochran behind. But, in my opinion he played a big role in Alabama's success during the first few years of Saban's time there. That shouldn't be overlooked.

Chad Morris. In his 2nd game this year as the head coach of Allen, Texas broke an 84 game “winning” streak. Furthermore, that was the very first game they had ever lost in their new 60 million dollar stadium.

Dude is a program killer!

I'd gladly have him back as Offensive Line coach.

Which, at the end of the 2012 season, was probably the best team in the country?

Nah, John L. was bad but he wasn't completely worthless. Plus he had a nervous breakdown after his brother died so I can't heap that much scorn on him.

To be on Mt. Flushmore you can't be just bad. You have to be awful. You have to be legendary in just how bad you were. We are talking "Ears" Whitworth here, not Ron Zook.
