Joker Phillips.
Amazingly enough for a guy from Kentucky and a former player, he never really believed that UK could be a viable program so he was timid in recruiting and never red shirted anyone he thought might be even decent.
He took a program that Brooks had built into something solid and ran it into a mid tier MAC level talent level junk pile.

Did you see what he did to UT as a headcoach? Richts medicrity would be caviar compared to what he showed as UT hbc.

So I guess Saban is a POS, too, then.
Saban was slow to adjust to HUNHO's just like he was in making a change in the S&C program.

It used to be Butch - I thought he was poison and bad luck.
Apparently he wasn’t and all the kids liked him. So . . .

Sylvester Croom is the above all complete top of the list and there is zero comparison.
Nope. Don’t even try.

Bill Curry and Joker Phillips immediately jump to mind as far as HC's go.
Yeah, and what's funny the fan excitement for these two was super high when they were hired.
Curry for leaving Bama to come here, and Joker for taking over what Brooks had built, and (we hoped), he was ready to take over and take it to the next level.
And it turns out neither could make it work. Curry even had Couch, although only for his freshman year, and didn't want to trust him and put in an offense that fit him. And Joker came in, took control, got rid of some coaches, hired others, and it basically fell apart from game 1 for him.
I'll add Hal Mumme. See Couch comments above. Hired to hand the ball to Couch. Seemed good at first, but his lack of interest in anything defense ran it down pretty quickly. Then probation. He wasn't ready for a big conference.
And I should add Bill G. See comments about Hal Mumme.

Easily Les Miles
LSU fans are clamoring for the firing of CEO, but the one thing he did allow was offensive scheme improvements. Les was hard headed, stubborn, & wasted a plethora of talent. If LSU had improved with the times & schemes of new who knows where we could’ve been. His off the field issues (no need to go into detail), time clock mismanagement, & inability to coherently represent the business side of LSU football was utterly embarrassing. His national championship was a highlight but the 2011 championship loss is unforgivable.

James Coley and Fat Chaney
Good riddance to both.
Good riddance to both.

I knew Will Muschamp was going to be a problem the moment he went for 2 in the first quarter against Miami in 2012 with the score 6-7. It went downhill offensively from that moment forward.

Coley was a UGA guy through and through. Jimbo offered him the OC job at AnM but decided to stay as an assistant at UGA. His offense wasn't stellar in his first and only year in the position, but no reason to hate the guy.

Aren't y'all going through a few injuries right now?
Every injury is not necessarily due to S&C. You either have to say that Saban screwed up royally by keeping him or maybe it wasn't Cochran's fault.
Will Anderson is questionable
Jobe
Armour-Davis
Chris Allen
I mean...we've been hit, too. Believe it or not it happens to everybody and seems to come in waves for whatever reason. We got killed in 2013.
