Would have to say Bama = Yankees. Because both teams do it the right way without cheating.

Probably the Cleveland Indians. They’re still the Indians, but no Chief Wahoo. We’re still the Rebels, but no Colonel Reb.

Mizzou = Los Angeles Chargers

A few random solid years where they put together a nice season, but can never win the big one. Also manages to lose in the most absurd, unthinkable ways possible at every opportunity.

A tree that falls in the woods but nobody is around to hear it... stills makes a crashing noise.

Cheating but not getting caught, is still cheating. It just means you're really good at it.

LSU would be the Baltimore Ravens. Always pretty good, sometimes great, and a few titles sprinkled throughout. Perhaps also the Chicago Blackhawks.

UGA = Braves

Got a title years ago on the back(s) of generational talent

Walker for the Dawgs
Glavine, Smoltz, Maddux for the Braves

Since then, have been in the mix over the years, but cannot seem to get over the hump again.

This is what I was going to say. Competitive with the top of the league more often than not, but always turning out to be the third or fourth best and faltering against the best of the best in the postseason/pivotal regular season games.
